3D PRINTING (FDM)

FUSE DEPOSITION MODELING

ISS offers rapid prototyping and final product development using "Fuse Deposition Modeling (FDM)." FDM is is an 3D printing method in which a design is created directly from a computer-aided design (CAD) model using layer-by-layer deposition of a plastic filament extruded through a nozzle.

Additionally, we offer to beat any competitor quote with a valid invoice.

Currently, ISS prints in ABS, PETG, PLA, Wood/PLA blend, Stainless Steel/PLA blend, Carbon Fiber/PLA blend, and TPU.

We use food grade plastics that are approved by the FDA for safe use.

Post processing services are available for your design. Those services include sanding, painting, coating, annealing, and chemical treatments.

We do request that you have a CAD file so we can furnish you a quote. Currently we accept these CAD files: STEP (AP 214), SAT, IGES, IGS, OBJ, STL, Freecad files, Design Spark files, SLDPRT, SLDASSM, CAT, and more.

The engineers here will provide feedback about your design to make sure you know what needs to change in order to manufacture it.

We do offer free samples if you need to feel the material prior to a purchase.

3rd party customers will need to release a milestone for the 3D printing work prior to any shipment.
