RAPID CASTING
For those who are seeking to make a rapid plastic prototype (or finished product) using casting resin this is the service for you. By mixing certain chemicals together, at room temperature, we are able to create plastic models that can cure within 15 minutes. This enables you to make multiple copies of your design at a reasonable price. Additionally, certain chemicals can be added to the resin to adjust color or change the properties of the plastic.
Please note that if you don't already have the model for molding it will have to be created from scratch. Silicone molds and other materials can be used to create a mold for casting and or a 3D printed mold. Please reach out to us and we can discuss your most cost effective options.
We currently cast products in the following types of materials:
An ABS-like plastic
Food grade silicone (clear)
Durable silicone (opaque, can be colored)
Polyurethane foam (very soft)
Machinable foam (rigid foam)
